كانت هناك علي الترتيب مدينة وجسر أبيض وأمسية مطيرة. من أحد جانبي الجسر كان هناك رجل يتقدم بمظلة ومعطف. ومن الجانب الآخر كانت هناك امرأة تتقدم بمعطف ومظلة. وفي منتصف الجسر بالضبط، حيث كان يوجد تمثالان حجريان لأسدين يتواجهان بالنظر منذ مائة وخمسين عاما، توقف الرجل والمرأة ينظران إلي بعضهما البعض…
